I read some reviews which left me a bit concerned about the flash feature. But I decided to give it a go and buy it. I use it mostly for night time wildlife visiting my garden and I am not at all disappointed. It works in the dead of night and gives great pictures and with the date and time stamp, I get great insight into the times that aniamls visit my garden. It also works great around the nest box in my garden, during the daytime. I have, so far, absolutely no criticisms about this camera and have already recommended it to family and friends. Its great !!

Works very well, very sensitive to movement. One can quickly accumulate hundreds of pictures which can be well edited in several Adobe programs. Sharp lens.

I was aware that the camera did not take video in HD, but the video quality is Horrible! If you are mainly interested in video images I do not recommend this device. Get an HD digital camcorder and tripod and stake out your bird feeder or birdbath. The still shots are very good. The quality of the photos is very good. I would suggest a built in tape measure be added to the camera. This could be done very easily. also the camera is pretty heavy when the batteries are added. Just a note. The bungie straps don't hold camera very securely to trees if the tree isn't very large.
